in this diary- the ataris

summer days are gone too soon...

too bad it's all over... well here's an overview 
of my great summer :) it consisted of <font color=ff4040>drivers ed</font color=ff4040>, 
lots of <font color=ff4040>bowling</font color=ff4040>, <font color=ff4040>summer school</font color=ff4040>- government and 
eco.. got them over with, staying up to play 
<font color=ff4040>graffiti</font color=cc99ff>- the greatest game ever.. esp when you 
know all the answers.. hahah, <font color=ff4040>selling fireworks</font color=ff4040> 
off in who knows where, watching a good amount 
of <font color=ff4040>movies</font color=ff4040>- finding nemo, bruce almighty, the 
italian job, 2 fast 2 furious, the hulk, 28 days 
later, terminator 3, pirates of the carribean, 
league of extraordinary gentlemen, seabiscut, and 
SWAT.. but besides watching movies, i got 
to spend a good deal of time with the guys..

i also got to travel a bit too. right after summer school i left for <font color=ff4040>philly</font color=cff4040> with my rents. sigh.. i <font color=ff4040>love</font color=ff4040> philly so much. wish i could move up there next year for college.. well i got to spend time with my little cousin sammy which was cool. o yea, i took senior pictures there too. i did a lot of walking there.. o man.. i mean more walking than i would do in a year in houston. but i had my share of good food(yep.. even philly cheesesteaks), good shopping, and good times. i went to <font color=ff4040>new york</font color=ff4040> twice too.. first time we stayed in <font color=ff4040>china town</font color=ff4040>.. whoo, what a crazy place. people everywhere and not to mention the lovely smell =P haha, but the food there is soo good. walked around everywhere, down <font color=ff4040>soho</font color=ff4040>, allll around china town, went to <font color=ff4040>central park</font color=ff4040>, the <font color=ff4040>metropolitan museum</font color=ff4040>, <font color=ff4040>grand central station</font color=ff4040>, and all that good stuff. the second time we went, we went with my aunt. haha she knows her way around much better. we started off at the <font color=ff4040>south street seaport</font color=ff4040> and later went to visit <font color=ff4040>ground zero</font color=ff4040>, the <font color=ff4040>empire state building</font color=ff4040>, took the subway down to <font color=ff4040>flushing</font color=ff4040> for lunch, went to <font color=ff4040>rockefeller center</font color=ff4040>, and lots of other places. i also got to visit all my relatives- grandpa, uncles, aunts, and new cousins.. haha. i can't wait to go back. 

a few days after i came back from philly, i went to <font color=ff4040>laredo</font color=ff4040>! such awesomeness.. the day we got there, we went to linda and jared's wedding. then the next day went to church at <font color=ff4040>santa fe</font color=ff4040> and went canvasing in mexico near <font color=ff4040>nuevo jerusalem</font color=ff4040>. the same church from last year.. score. it was so cool seeing old faces, and some kids even remembered me :) we did <font color=ff4040>bbc</font color=ff4040> in the morning at sammy's house. we had only 5 kids, which included the host's grandchildren, son, and friend.. haha. but <font color=ff4040>God diguises blessings every lesson</font color=ff4040>. later in the day we went over to mexico and had vbs there. it was such a blast and i got to reunite with my two little boyfriends, marcos who's 9, and mario who's 8 :) laredo, again, was the most awesome experience ever. you would think that once you're in the <font color=ff4040>109<ampersand/>#730; weather</font color=ff4040>, it's all you can think about, but once you're experiencing and being shown such great things, <font color=ff4040>it's the last thing on your mind</font color=ff4040>.

aaannd.. when i came back from laredo, my cousin <font color=ff4040>janica</font color=ff4040> came and visited. haha, we had fun dying lum's hair and eating at oishii. we also found bizzaro twins.. haha, like preston and jason. oo and for the last few days of summer i got to see <font color=ff4040>tony</font color=ff4040> again! -smiles- haha, i haven't seen him in maybe 4-5 years? we went to watch SWAT for his belated bday and it was <font color=ff4040>pouring</font color=ff4040>.. (again). hehe, we were both <font color=ff4040>soaked</font color=ff4040>. but we also got to go to the galleria and walk around. he's so goofy.. but i had so much fun. thanks :) i also went <font color=ff4040>ice skating</font color=ff4040> with my cousin and friends and beena! haha, fun stuff. your socks turn all sorts of interesting colors after wearing rental skates..

hm.. i think that pretty much sums up most of my loong summer :)
